Founder Helen Lill interviews EI Cure Project Board Member and UK Trustee, Hannah Lark. Hannah is 26 years old and has KRT10 EI without PPK. She has also been taking oral acitretin medication to control her EI since the age of 8 years.

EI is a genetic condition with dominant inheritance, meaning any of her children have a 50% chance of having EI.

Hannah and her partner decided to go through Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis In-Vitro Fertilisation (PGD-IVF) in order to have a baby who is not affected by EI. In this interview we discuss how having EI has affected Hannah's choices for her pregnancy, and what the process of PGD-IVF was like.
